The Tri-City Public Library District Board of Trustees invites the public to a dedication and grand opening ceremony for the new building at 600 S. Main Street in Buffalo. The ceremony will be held June 25, 2016 beginning with informal tours and viewing followed by a few remarks. Refreshments will be served.
The new Library has 3,675 square feet and features not only a more comfortable and inviting space for readers and others, but it is a "green" building, with LED lighting and solar panels providing electricity to the entire building.
The building was designed by John Shafer & Associates from Springfield and the primary contractor was Building Systems of Illinois from Decatur.
